About us

Hello! We’re Lee and Els, the founders of S.FE. Let me tell you a bit about us and how we created S.FE! 

We’re happily married and have two children. Although we are both Brits, we met in Australia, where we used to live. Now, we proudly call Southampton our home. Lee works as an Electrician, while Els is a buyer and product manager, specializing in eyewear.

We ventured into the world of PPE when we noticed that the stylish and high-quality glasses Els created in her professional life were missing on job sites. Instead PPE was often characterized as disposable, uncomfortable, and damn right ugly… we felt we could do much better! By combining Lee’s hands-on testing with Els’ product knowledge, we set out to create PPE that you’ll actually want to wear. Not only did we want high quality, safe and fashionable glasses, but we wanted them to be more environmentally friendly. So our frames & cases are all crafted from recycled materials.

Safe, fashionable & environmentally friendly has become the premise of our business… this is the S.FE way.
